Xrays are an essential part of any preventative or diagnostic oral exam. This painless dentistry practice is usually done at the same time as teeth cleaning, and it allows the dentist to see any small cavities or other problem areas in the mouth.
Digital xrays bypass the development process, similar to how digital cameras work, and your xray practitioner can see the image instantly so you don’t have to wait as you did with traditional film xrays. With digital xrays, your dentist can also store images and use them to compare to future images.
We have been closely monitoring the rapidly changing situation in regard to Coronavirus (COVID-19). In accordance with recent recommendations from the CDC and the American Dental Association (ADA), van Greuningen Dentistry has decided to suspend elective and non-emergent services at this time.
We hope to return to normal operation on April 6, but we are keenly aware this might need to change depending on the situation at that time. If you have an appointment during this time, we will be in touch to reschedule as soon as we are able.
We will, however, be available for emergency needs during this time. Please call 404-262-1456 for any dental emergency. We will be available during limited hours to handle administrative or other issues. We will check messages frequently during business hours. If you reach us during non-business hours, please follow the directions in the message.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Victor van Greuningen, DMD and Team.
